  • Why should I consider therapy?

    Therapy has proven to have great benefits as it provides individuals with the opportunity to improve their self awareness. With sessions centered around your needs, therapy can assist you with discovering new ways to approach challenging situations that will support your physical and mental well-being.

  • How long will I need to go through therapy?

    There are short and long term therapy options available for clients depending on their needs and presenting concerns. During the initial assessment, session frequency will be determined as it can be a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly commitment. The length of time that a client will be in therapy is determined by how much work they are willing to put in and the progress shown with meeting their therapeutic goals.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    Empowering Pathways is currently in network with the following insurance plans:

    Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia + Aetna + Optum/United Healthcare + Cigna (GA) + Oscar Health (GA) + Oxford (GA)

  • What if my insurance is not listed?

    If your insurance is not listed, you will be considered out of network (OON); however, depending on your insurance company, you have the option to pay for services at our full rate, and we will provide a billing statement—superbill—for you to send for partial or full reimbursement.

  • What are your rates?

    Standard sessions are based on 45-60 minutes, and fees will be discussed during the initial consultation. Sessions that are extended will incur an additional fee from the standard session rate.

  • Do you have a cancellation policy?

    If you are unable to attend a session, cancellations are accepted via phone, text, or email, and is required 24 hours of the scheduled session time. Missed or late cancellations will be charged the full session rate on the designated card on file.
